Description



A Bookkeeper is responsible for recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and producing financial reports. They manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Bookkeepers may also assist with payroll processing, tax preparation, and budgeting.



Qualifications:



Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper.

Strong accounting background

Experience working for a law firm bookkeeping is an advantage

Advanced MS Excel skills (knows how to create macros for automation)

Quickbook knowledge is an advantage

Prior experience working in night shift

Fast learner

Proficient oral and written communication skills



Duties and Responsibilities:



Work closely with the in-house bookkeeper assisting with AR

Handle AR accounts - book, invoice and collect

Maintain accurate financial records

Data entry to prepare reports

Prepare and generate reports to understand how the business is doing - MS Excel

Reconcile accounts and bank statements

Prepare financial statements and invoices

Manage accounts receivable and payable

Run reports and conduct financial analysis using Excel



System/ Software:



Microsoft Excel - intermediate to advanced skills - knows how to make macros for finance automation)

MS Teams for communication - proficient

MS Office Suite - proficient

PracticePanther (case management - invoicing) - an advantage; can be trained

Quickbook knowledge - Proficient
